The human idea of time is a consensual hallucination. One can experience only one or two types of time at most. The time of the ideas inside the mind, and the time of the ideas outside of the mind. One can think about the progression of time for another who is far away, or understand the progression of time through reading a book or newspaper. But one has not been able to experienced so many rates of time at once. One rate of time is the text message experience, while one is talking with someone in 3 space, and then driving in a vehicle. Watching a video on Youtube is another. Multiple times are being experienced at once, ands one is constantly shifting how one experiences the progression of events and actin as one goes from very fast events online to slow events in real life. Often one who is powerful online, one who is used go traveling from place to place instantaneously — gets quite impatient in analog reality. Stoplights, cars in front of them- they are used to being somewhere immediately.

Physiological Effects of Compressed Time

There is also the idea of one underestimating how much time it might take to do something. THe idea that there’s information and all one has to do is put that information together to get something done. It’s much more involved than that. Each piece of information one finds one must pass through an interface change. These interface changes build up over time, resulting in more time rather than less.

Experts know how to cull through those resources more quickly, know the keywords to look for them in the first place or have already gathered resources and culled through them.
