Definition

An artificial heaven describes the idea of putting one's body into suspension while the mind is allowed to live on, either in a simulation or connected to others. The duration of this would ideally be forever, but relistically would be attached to the requirements of energy or other societal support.

"Stick them into a coma, and send signals to their brain so that for the person they feel as if they're stuck in a very, very long lucid dream in which they can do whatever they want. Their own personal heaven. You could start a new life within this coma in any fictional universe, be goku for a few years, continue living with the body of a 20 year old, or do anything you desire. Just in reality you'd be a vegetable hooked up to a machine, which shuts off forever once you've had enough."[1]
